Bangalore

Koshy's - a Bangalore institution, serving a smattering of Western favorites along with the usual South Indian fare. A little overpriced.

Sue's Food Place - a Caribbean style restaurant with an excellent buffet. Jamaican jerk chicken, salads and desserts are fantastic.

100ft Restaurant - good westernized cooking, especially the pasta

Sagar Hotel's Idli, Dosa & Gunta Ponganalu - near the Virupaksha Temple - the restaurant is nothing more than tables/chairs under a thatched roof but the food is a favorite among travelers. Cheap and good.

Mango Tree - along the riverbanks - one of the nicest, most relaxed restaurant settings you will ever come across. Lounge comfortably on the steps underneath the huge mango tree sipping lassis while escaping the afternoon heat. Food is a bit expensive for the quality.
