Itinerary Route: Chandigarh - Shimla - Manali - Dharamsala - Panthankot
Day 1: Chandigarh to Shimla (119 km / 3 hour drive)
You will be greeted upon arrival in Chandigarh by a Tour Packages India Representative who will escort you on the journey to Shimla where you'll check into your hotel.
Day 2: Shimla
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Shimla. Visit Kufri, a small hill station 13 km / 8 mi away. While there, visit the Himalayan Wildlife Zoo which hosts rare antelopes, wild cats, and beautiful birds including the state bird of Himachal, the Himalayan Monal. Also take time to visit the Indira Tourist Park, near the Himalayan Nature Park, and take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan foothills. A few kilometers/miles away you'll find Naldhera, another tiny hill station, famous for it's scenic beauty and colonial architecture as well as hosting India's oldest 9-hole Golf Course. In the evening, walk around Shimla and visit Scandal Point, the center of all public life. Don't miss the Scotland Church and the surrounding British-era buildings on your way back to the hotel.

Day 3: Shimla to Manali (265 km / 6 hour drive)
Check out of the hotel after breakfast and embark on the upward journey to Manali (elev. 2,050 m / 6,398 ft ).. During the ride enjoy the picturesque journey which includes sights like the Beas-Sutlej Link Project, Pandoh Dam, and the Kullu Shawl Factory.
Upon arrival in Manali, check in to your hotel. Spend the remainder of the day in leisure. Dinner and overnight in Manali.
Day 4: Manali
Tour Manali and visit the Vashishtha, Manu, Gayatri, and Hadmimba temples along with the local Tibetan Monastery. Nearby, pay a visit to Vasisht, an appealing mountainside village and a favorite location for visitors due to its hot sulphur springs and unique cultural traditions. Located on a steep slope, Vasisht is culture unto itself - from interesting people wearing their traditional ornaments and clothing to the distinctive traditional houses and local architecture. Spend the night in Manali.
Day 5: Manali
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Snow Point on Rohtang Pass. The trip also includes a visit to the Kothi and Rahalla Falls.
Spend the night in Manali.
Note: Rohtang Pass is 51 km (2 hour drive) from Manali. Inaccessible for more than half the year due to treacherous terrain and heavy snow conditions, visits to Snow Point on Rohtang Road are navigable only via small vehicles like jeeps (6-seater) or cars (4-seater).
Day 6: Manali to Dharamsala (235 km / 6 hour drive)
After morning checkout, drive up to Dharamsala - home to the Dalai Lama. Stop along the way to visit Buddhist shrines and take scenic pictures.
Day 7: Dharamsala to Panthankot (92 km / 3 hour drive)
After morning checkout, enjoy the scenic ride to Panthankot from where you'll continue your onward travels.

SILVER TRIANGLE OF INDIA TOUR Terms and Conditions Important and necessary information about Deposits and Payments, Cancellation Policy, Refund Schedule...be sure to read it before booking your tour Terms and Conditions The purchase of any travel services offered by Tour Packages India (hereafter referred to as "TPI") constitutes a contractual arrangement between you and TPI, and represents your acceptance of the TPI Terms & Conditions. Deposit and Final Payment A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of 15% per tour is required for TPI to ensure your reservation. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received by TPI and you, in turn, receive a confirmation invoice via email. TPI accepts MasterCard and Visa. Your reservation will be automatically cancelled if deposit is not received by the deposit due date. Please review your booking invoice and contact TPI if your invoice appears to be incorrect or incomplete, as it may not be possible to make changes later. TPI cannot accept responsibility if we are not notified of inaccuracies within 5 days of sending out the invoice. In the case of billing errors, TPI reserves the right to re-invoice you with correct pricing. Final payment is due 30 days prior to commencement of services, with some limited exceptions as set forth below. If final payment is not received by the due date, your reservation will be canceled and your full deposit will be retained by TPI. Cancellation Fees are as follows: Tours cancelled 15 to 29 days before tour commencement date: 55% of the cost of services booked Tours cancelled 7 to 14 days before tour commencement date: 75% of the cost of services booked Any tour cancelled less than 7 days before tour commencement date will be ineligible for a refund.
