Bhubaneshwar and Puri place a large emphasis on a vegetarian diet and some excellent veg dishes can be found. More rural type fare will be served around Rambha and Taptapani. Orya food is typically quite spicy and prepared with significantly less oil used in cooking than other parts of India. It's a treat for the taste buds.
Famous temples, World Heritage Sites, great beaches, brackish lakes, dolphins, jungle tribals...a lot of diversity in a short amount of time.
