A fantastic selection of places to stay...forts and palaces, havelis, desert huts (nice ones)...desert grandeur the whole way.
Best Time: Winter in Rajasthan offers very cool evening temps and shorts weather throughout the day. Summers are incredibly hot but arid. Moonsoons can be quite enjoyable as rains occur mostly in the late afternoon offering a respite from the day's heat. October thru March (Winter)
Beware the spicy fare of Rajasthan - cure it with a refreshing lassi or their famous kulfi. Thalis are most interesting and filling, great Mughal fare, incredible Tandoori. The food is as exciting as the tour itself..
Forts, palaces, havelis, a rat temple - really, zip rides, camel rides, horseback rides, boat rides. And the most interesting and varied architecture you could hope for..you'll spend the entire tour wishing for more hours in the day to conintue the ride.
